As part of Dementia Awareness Week, Dr. Tricia Cowan will be
presenting a program called “Dementia Friends” on Friday, September
18th, at 9:00 a.m. She will present
using the zoom platform.
The program is designed to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s
Disease and other forms of dementia and encourage community members to become a
dementia friend.
Dr. Cowan teaches nursing at Bemidji State University and is
a volunteer for Northwoods Caregivers.
