Supporting Bemidji seniors with fall yard care

Join volunteers across our community to rake yards, haul leaf bags, and help older adults stay safe at home.

Why This Event Matters

A clean yard may seem small, but for seniors it can prevent falls, reduce stress, and make it possible to remain in their homes. Senior Clean‑Up Day brings together volunteers who make a direct, meaningful impact on the health and independence of older adults in our community.

Volunteer Roles Needed

  • Raking leaves
  • Trucks or trailers to haul leaf bags
  • Unloading leaf bags into dumpsters

Group Registration: To keep your group together, please have one person register for the entire group as the main contact.

Lunch Items Needed

  • Local restaurant gift cards for volunteer lunches

Supplies Needed

  • Leaf bags
  • Rakes

  • $25+ — Business name listed on banner, Bemidji Pioneer, and event signage
  • $200+ — Business logo included on banner, Bemidji Pioneer, and event signage

  • Time: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Home Base: Boys & Girls Club (dumpsters, check‑in, supplies)
